Kate Mangels represents companies and individuals in complex civil and criminal matters, including white collar criminal matters. She has experience handling a variety of cases, including federal criminal insider trading trials, civil and criminal government contracting fraud charges, and breach of contract and malpractice arbitration. She has also done pro bono work in education litigation.

Kate was formerly the co-chair of the Southern California Young Lawyers’ Committee of the Women in Law Empowerment Forum and a member of the Western Center on Law & Poverty’s advisory board. Prior to joining the firm, Kate was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She has worked in the California Attorney General’s Office, as well as various children’s rights groups. Kate received her law degree at Harvard Law School.
